SEVO Bioscience designs biohardware: microalgae strains engineered to produce and carry therapeutic proteins, and to deliver them through the feed an animal already eats. ANKR™ is the proprietary protein stacking system underneath it.

How It Works
One platform carries a therapeutic from computational design to the animal, with no injection anywhere in the chain.
Computational modelling and the ANKR™ module define a strain candidate around the antigen it has to carry.
The engineered microalgae are the producer of the antigen as well as its carrier, so growing the culture and manufacturing the therapeutic are the same step.
Mixed into standard feed, the microalgae carry the antigen to the gut, where the Gut-Associated Lymphoid Tissue (GALT) takes it up and the immune response begins.
The platform was built around the constraint that has held aquaculture health back: delivery, not discovery.
A single biological engine, multiple disease targets, across species and geographies.
Producing more therapeutic means growing more culture, not building more production capacity.
Feed reaches the whole population at once, without the stress that comes with manual vaccination.
Applicable throughout the lifecycle, including at sea, without additional manipulation.
